What is Online Scout Manager?
Although Scouting is known for the outdoors, technology in Scouting is used to help leaders, young people, and parents alike!
Knowing key e-safety points; managing the boring administrative work; relaying key information – all uses for technology within Scouting.
Online Scout Manager (OSM) is a website that manages all of our administration: displaying the programme, storing important information about young people, running events – it does it all!
OSM at 24th Chelmsford
We use OSM at 24th for all of our administrative work.
We require that all parents have access to OSM’s Parent Portal – the parental view which allows you to:
- Access and update all personal information we hold
- View the programme
- Sign up to events
- Check badge placements and awarded badges

You can access OSM by clicking on the image above, or by googling “Online Scout Manager”
When your young person joins 24th Chelmsford, we will send an email to the address we have on file, and you can create an account from there
Young people who move throughout sections will maintain the same login.
