What does Volunteering look like? Are you good with numbers? Handy in the kitchen? Or are you a DIY whizz? Whatever skills you have, we have a need for you!Scouting is about everyday people working as leaders and supporters in Scout Groups, Explorer units and as part of the wider District to support their communities. Our volunteers help provide our young people with #SkillsForLifeAs long as you’re over 18, you can help out as an adult volunteer in Scouting and there is no upper age limit for adult volunteers. What can I gain from Volunteering?Through Scouting, you can gain externally recognised skills – all whilst having a fun time! Scouting also offers opportunities to build personal skills such as leadership, teamwork, and confidence Getting involved however you can!Whatever time you have to offer – be it at meetings weekly, becoming a Trustee, becoming an occasional helper, or just helping out at special events or camps – we have a role for you! We will make sure you are properly supported, trained, and prepared to help out!
