Beavers at 24th Chelmsford Thinking about joining? Click here to contact our team! Who are we? Beavers are young people aged 6 to 8 who: Master new skills and try new things Have fun and go on adventures Are curious about the world around them Help others and make a difference, on their own doorstops and beyond Every week, they gather in a group called a Beaver Colony to hop, skip and jump their way through lots of different games and activities – achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way. We meet every Wednesday from 6pm to 7:15pm. Badges at Beavers There are lots of activity badges available for Beavers, ranging from the Experiment Activity Badge to the Animal Friend Activity Badge, along with many challenge awards, partnership awards and some staged badges which run all through the Scouting sections. Not all badges will be completed at weekly meetings, so why not find out what needs to be done for the badges and learn where they need to be sewn once they’ve been presented. Beavers work towards their Chief Scout Bronze – the highest award a Beaver can achieve. By attending each session and doing their best, they’ll achieve this by the time they move on to Cubs. Moving onThere’ll come a time when all to do in Beavers is done, and your young person is ready to move on to Cubs, where they’ll have the opportunity to try bigger challenges and continue their Scouting adventure. We offer Cubs at 24th Chelmsford where your young person can try more adventurous activities, make even more friends, and grow as people as their scouting journey moves through life with them!
